William J. "Bill" Montanye

June 22, 1966 — May 14, 2022

William J. "Bill" Montanye, husband, father, 55 years of age, of 232 East Abbott Street Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at home after a 8 month battle against cancer.

Born in Philadelphia on June 22, 1966 the son of the late William, and Edna (Gallagher) Montanye.

Surviving are; his wife of 10 years, Tracy A. (Williams) Montanye; sons, William Montanye and Richard Dietz; daughters, Heather Montanyen, Michelle Merz companion Marcus Colburn, Heather Dietz and her companion David Asling; 7 grandchildren; step father, Paul Schnatz; sister, Linda McDonald

Bill was catholic by faith, and a tireless worker. Bill worked as a Dry-Waller for Fitzpatrick Dry Walling Co for over 30 years. Bill was a Den Leader for Troop 765 of Lansford.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the fuenral home a Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at 2 o'clock P.M.
