William Christopher Hettler (AKA Chris), 58 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Friday, January 2, 2026, upon arrival at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. 

Born Saturday, September 16, 1967 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania the son of the late William M. and Stephanie ( Krupka) Hettler. Chris was also predeceased by; brother, Scott Fisher. 

Surviving are his companion of over 20 years, Fay Herr and her son, Braxton Allen Herr; sister, Lori Ahner; brothers, William Fisher, Mark Hettler and Thomas Hettler. 

He attended Palmerton High School.

 Chris was a member of St. John U.C.C. of Tamaqua. 

He enjoyed listening to music, fidgeting with electronics and coin collecting. He also was very generous by donating to various organizations. In his younger years(1980’s) Chris was very proud to be a roadie for Richie Molinaro & Silk Band.
