Warren David Balliet, age 85, of Lansford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Coaldale. Born on February 26, 1941, in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Warren was the cherished husband of Eleanor M. (Sherbin) Balliet.

He was the beloved son of the late Warren G. and Evelyn (Gould) Balliet, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life. Warren proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his dedication and patriotism.

A graduate of Tamaqua High School’s Class of 1960, Warren embarked on a career that would see him become a valued partner at Zimbels in Hazleton, where he devoted many years to retail service. His commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond his professional life, Warren found joy in leisurely pursuits. He was an avid golfer and a past member of the Mahoning Country Club, where he cultivated friendships and honed his skills on the greens. The tranquility of the golf course and the warmth of the club were places he treasured. He also enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he found relaxation and contentment.

Warren is survived by his devoted wife, Eleanor M. Balliet; his brother, Dennis Balliet, and Dennis’s wife, June; his sister, Yvonne Onuscho; and numerous nieces and nephews who remember him fondly. His family connections reflect the deep bonds and love he nurtured throughout his life.
