IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vesta L.
Trubilla
December 14, 1949 – February 17, 2026
Vesta L. Trubilla, age 76, of Sugarloaf Township, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John Trubilla to whom she was married to for 41 years.
Born on December 14, 1949, in Hazleton, PA, Vesta was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Winifred (Stauffer) Field. She dedicated many years to her role as a retail manager at Weis Markets, where she was well-respected and cherished by her colleagues.
Vesta was a devoted member of Christ Lutheran Church in Cunningham, PA. Throughout her life, she found joy in painting and gardening, but her greatest passion was spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She treasured each moment with her family, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
Vesta's legacy continues through her loving husband, John, and their cherished children: Richard, husband of Nicole Porter of Berwick; Tara Porter of Reading; and Jacqueline, wife of Mark Gorski of Drums. Her grandchildren, Alena, Nick, Andrew, Gianna, Meliah, and Brianna, will carry forward the warmth and wisdom she imparted. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Ava, Amelia, and Ilia.
In addition to her immediate family, Vesta is survived by her siblings, Clifford, husband of Susan Field of Hazle Township, and Judith, wife of Dale Younker of Sugarloaf. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Vesta was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Morgan Karlick, whose memory will forever be held close to the hearts of her family.
Private arrangements are being made at the convenience of the family. They invite others to share their condolences and cherished memories online at www.griffithsfuneralhomes.com.
Vesta L. Trubilla’s spirit and love for her family will remain a guiding light for all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
