Thomas F. "Tom" Hewitt Jr.

Thomas F. Hewitt Jr., beloved father, pop-pop, brother, 76 years of age, a resident of Lake Hauto Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at home.

Born on Thursday, September 30, 1948 in Bucks County the son of the late Thomas F. Hewitt Sr. and Dorothy L. (Shallcross) Hewitt. Tom was also predeceased by his wife of 38 years Dianne L. (Neff) Hewitt on November 12, 2010; sister, Judy McNeil. 

Surviving are; daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" Yelito and her husband Louis of Nesquehoning; son, Sean D. Winter and his wife Donna; sister, Sandy Teasdale; grandchildren, Jager and Axel Yelito, Ryan Winter, and Alexis Becker and her husband Sean.

A graduate of Upper Moreland High School Tom was currently working for Mazmet Metal Products as a Lead Estimator. Previously Tom worked for New Castle Building products. Tom was devoted to his family and adored his children and grandchildren. Tom's hobbies included riding his golf cart around the lake with his grandsons, jigsaw puzzles, making up quotes for his work, enjoying his wine out of his coffee mug, dinners with his family and Friday visits with his neighbor.

A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Monday evening August 25, 2025 at 7 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until the time of services.
