Obituary

Stephen T. Delman, Jr., 76, of Weatherly, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2026, in his home.

Born on June 4, 1950, in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, Stephen was the son of the late Stephen T. Delman Sr. and Lois Leyfert Delman. His early years in Beaver Meadows laid the foundation for a lifetime marked by dedication, hard work, and community involvement.

Throughout his career, Stephen devoted himself to helping others through his work at Weatherwood Nursing Home, where he was a valued member of the maintenance department. His technical expertise and reliability made him a trusted figure among his coworkers and the residents he served. Alongside his tenure at Weatherwood, Stephen took pride in building and operating his own HVAC business, serving the local community with skill and integrity.

Stephen’s interests extended well beyond his professional life. He found great joy in the outdoors, particularly while hunting and fishing, activities that brought him relaxation and a deep connection to nature. A social member of the Weatherly Fire Company, Stephen enjoyed the camaraderie and sense of belonging it provided. His faithful dog, Buddy, was an ever-present companion who brought him comfort and companionship.

Stephen’s greatest legacy is found in his family. He is survived by his children: Stephen T. Delman III, husband of Courtney (Hadzick) Delman, Weatherly, and Nicholas Anthony Delman, husband of Patricia Delman, of Summit Hill. His love and pride for his family were evident in all that he did, and he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren: Stephen T. Delman IV, Joseph Michael Delman, and Kenleigh Rose Delman.

He is also survived by his siblings: Mark Delman, husband of Karen Delman; Joan Michalochick; Patrick Delazio; Linda Delman; and Constance Delman. The bonds he shared with his brothers and sisters were strong, and their memories together will be treasured for years to come.

Stephen T. Delman, Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his work, his love for family, and the quiet, steadfast way in which he touched all those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and deep familial love.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
