Shirley Reigel, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother 90 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025, as a guest of Providence Place in Drums, Pennsylvania.
Born Sunday, November 11, 1934 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Elmer and Agnes (Weicker) Schuetrumpf. Shirley was also predeceased by her husband of 52 years Herbert T. Reigel on April 27, 2019; sister, Rhea Schuetrumpf; brothers, Norman, Marlin, and Claude Schuetrumpf.
Surviving are; sons, Daniel J. Reigel wife Carol, Jeffrey A. Reigel and his wife Connie, Herbert D. Reigel wife Lisa, Timothy Reigel wife Leslie; sisters, Mae Zavochi and Carol Schuetrumpf; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive Shirley.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Shirley was a member of St. John U.C.C. of Tamaqua. Shirley and her husband Herb owned and operated Herbert Reigel Plumbing & Heating for 45 years retiring in 2008. Shirley and Herb enjoyed snow birding to Florida, as Shirley kept in touch with local events reading the newspaper. While raising her boy's Shirley was active in Scouting and was a member of the Gideon's.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 10 2025 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home.
Friends may call on the morning of services from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
Interment will be in Sky- View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
