Shahera Morgan

Shahera Morgan, 43, of Coaldale, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 12, 2026. Born in Manhattan on July 9, 1982, she was the daughter of the late Kenya Morgan.

A woman of profound kindness and beauty, Shahera was known for her spiritual grace and her dedication to others. She shared her talents through her love of knitting and crafting, and she served her community through her work at Eden Brooke Nursing Home in Schuylkill Haven. Though her time was far too brief, her memory remains deeply embedded in the souls of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Juan A. Negron; her children, Juan, Elijah, Milan, Nyla, and Diamond Negron, and Somyia Negron and her husband William Welfel; her brother, Trevor Morgan; and nine beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kenya; her sister, Myiosha; her nephew, Tristian; and her cousin, Jamel.
