Ruth A. Valentine, 74 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale, Pennsylvania. Born Saturday, July 28, 1945 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Moyer) Valentine. Ruth was also predeceased by; son, Wayne Michael Arndt; brothers, John T. Valentine and Robert W. Valentine. Surviving are son, Randolph L. Arndt of Danville; daughter, Samantha Arndt of Summit Hill; brother, Paul D. Valentine and his wife Starr of Tamaqua; grand children, Jessica Knerr, Randolph Knerr, Lucas Arndt; great grand children, Sebastian, Gabriel, and Lucas. Ruth is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the E.
