Ruth N. Neifert

Mrs. Ruth N.(Zimmerman) Neifert, age 81, of Troy, Pa., formerly of Tamaqua, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Bradford County Manor in Troy, Pa.

A 1947 Tamaqua High School graduate, Ruth was a homemaker, and member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Naomi (Krapf) Zimmerman.

She is survived by her

One Daughter,
Catherine L. (Neifert) Robertshaw wife of John of Mt. Holly, N.J.;

Two Sons,
Kenneth E. Neifert, Jr. and his wife Carol of Pittsburgh,
Bruce I. Neifert and his wife Lewann of Canton;

One Sister,
JoAnn Higginbotham of Missoula, Mont.;

One Brother,
Thomas Barron of Philadelphia;

Seven grandchildren, Robert, Timothy, Matthew, Kyle, Liana, Amanda, and Stacey;
Four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ignatious, Isidora, and Logan;

Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Neifert, Sr., on January 3, 2005; brothers, Joe Barron, and Robert Zimmerman.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011, Rev. David W. Grant officiating.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
