Rose
Foster
July 5, 1943 – May 19, 2026
Rose (Morris) Foster, age 82, formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hazleton Campus. Her life journey began on July 5, 1943, in Philadelphia, the cherished daughter of the late Daniel and Elva (Pfister) Morris.
Rose was preceded in death not only by her beloved parents but also by her husband, Richard P. Foster, and her dear daughter, Dorothy Foster. She also mourned the loss of her siblings: Thomas Morris, Daniel Morris, Arthur Morris, Mary Jenson, and Frances Moore.
This devoted mother and grandmother is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rosemarie Douglas of Jim Thorpe and Donna, wife of Gary Bosetti of Little Egg Habor, NJ. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Amy, Daniel, William, and Michael, along with the anticipation of welcoming her soon-to-be great-grandson, Elliot, who will carry forward her legacy.
A proud graduate of Kensington High School, Rose dedicated her professional life as a secretary for numerous companies in her hometown, where she built a reputation for diligence and grace. Beyond her professional achievements, Rose found joy in simple pleasures—crocheting delicate patterns and engaging in challenging word puzzles, activities that kept her spirit vibrant and her mind sharp.
Those who knew Rose will remember her as a doting mother and grandmother, whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know her.
Arrangements for Rose Foster have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
