Robert Allen Weyhenmeyer

Robert Allen Weyhenmeyer, 69 years of age, of Orwigsburg St., Tamaqua, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

Robert served honorably during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy.

He retired from Fanelli's Trucking as a dispatcher.

Robert was a Tamaqua Area High School graduate and he was a member of the Tamaqua American Legion Post #173, and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua..

Born in Tamaqua on July 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Allen Weyhenmeyer and the late Laura (Dietrich) Weyhenmeyer. he was also predeceased by his sister, Mrs. Judy Haas.

He is survived by his;

Sister,
Jean Linkhorst wife of Charles of Lake Hauto;

Nieces and Nephews, Debby Linkhorst of Coaldale, Ritchie Linkhorst and his wife Sherrie of Tamaqua, Laurie Price and her husband Kevin of Lake Hauto, Chris King and her husband David of Coaldale, Scott Linkhorst and his wife Stacey of Tamaqua, Denise Mika of Tamaqua, Kevin Domin and his wife Nancy of Harrisburg, and Robert Ackles and his wife Vickie of Tamaqua.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held on Friday evening June 3, 2016 at 8 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Smith, and Vicar Cindy White to officiate.

Friends may call on Friday evening June 3, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until time of services.

Interment with Military honors Saturday June 4, 2016 at 10 o'clock A.M. from Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
