Rhae K. Hassan, age 96, passed away on May 20, 2016. in West Palm Beach Florida.
Rhae was the beloved wife of the late Abraham Hassan. Survived by her family who share her wonderful memories: sons, Kenneth O. and his wife Felice, and Benjamin J. and his wife Judy; also survived by five grandchildren: Marc and his fiancee' Dana and her daughter Amanda; Abram his wife Amy; Ali, Hayley, and Dulaney Hassan; Rhae’s sister, Perle Goodman, special nephews, Stevens Kasselman and his wife Diane and Dr. Jamie Goodman and his wife Laura, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Also predeceased by her beloved companion Louis Shugarman.
Rhae, born in Russia, emigrated to the United States with her sister and late parents Max and Leah (Galant) Kasselman. She spent most of her adult years in Tamaqua, PA, Baltimore, MD, Boynton Beach and W. Palm Beach, FL. She was the president of S&R Dress Company in Tamaqua. Rhae was a vivacious redhead who loved life! Her family always came first. She enjoyed going to the theatre, travel, and shopping for great bargains. She loved working in her sons' Law Firm of Hassan, Hassan, and Tuchman. Rhae was a life-long member of Hadassah, a member of the Tamaqua Business and Professional Women’s Association and the Fidelton Guild of Baltimore.
