Regina M. "Jeanne" Blonsky, 71, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at St. Luke's University Hospital Bethlehem Campus, with her beloved daughter Kate Lyn Blonsky by her side as well as friends and family.
Born in Coaldale on September 21, 1953, Jeanne was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Morgavich - Mazar) Murphy. A graduate of Panther Valley High School, she dedicated many years to her career before retiring in 2019. From 2001 until her retirement, she served as the Office Manager at Sky-View Memorial Park.
Jeanne found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as: appreciating the beauty of nature, hummingbird watching, jewelry-making, Beatles music, reading a good book, sipping tea with her daughter, strolling Penny Lane in Rehoboth, beach-combing & beach-going. Her creative and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Thomas A. Blonsky, on February 27, 2013, as well as her sisters, Mildred "Mitzi" Murphy and Catherine "Kayann" Sommers, and her brother, John Matthew Murphy.
In addition to her daughter, Kate, Jeanne is survived by her nieces and nephews and her special, BabeeCat.
