Melissa "Missy" Miller, 54, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Lodi Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was traveling cross-country with her beloved husband, Calvin C. Miller, in their tandem rig at the time of her passing.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on January 24, 1971, Missy was the daughter of Frederick "Fritz" Otto and the late Sonia (Toth) Otto. A proud graduate of Dieruff High School, Missy embraced life on the open road with Calvin for over 21 years. Together, they logged countless miles, driving their truck across the United States. Her constant companion in the cab was her loyal dog, Molly.

Missy possessed a lively spirit and a love for simple pleasures. She enjoyed trying her luck at casinos and playing the lottery, always chasing the dream of a big payday. An ardent NASCAR fan, she faithfully cheered for her favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Kevin Harvick.

She will be profoundly missed by her family, including her father, Frederick "Fritz" Otto; her devoted husband, Calvin C. Miller; her son, Randy Czankner and his husband Zachery; her daughter, Tia M. St Peter; her brother, Michael Otto and his wife Allison; and her four cherished grandchildren: Jaylynn, Angelo, Sarai, and Lillian.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to call from 11:30 AM until the time of services.
