Maria C. (Whah) Streisel, 45 years of age of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania passed away onFriday, June 26, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Ctr. in Danville, Pennsylvania after a courageous battle against cancer..

Born Tuesday, September 2, 1980 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Joe Whah and Debra (King) Whah. Maria was also predeceased by; brother, Tom Whah.

Surviving are; husband, Damian C. Streisel Sr.; sons, Dominic Streisel, Damian Streisel, NicoStreisel, Dakota Streisel and his wife Megane, Noah Streisel; brother, Joe Whah; sister, CorinaWhah; maternal grandmother, Jade Hardesty; paternal grandfather, John Whah; grandchildren, Jaxon, Carter, and Colton Streisel; mother-in-law, Ida Biscoe; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A 1998 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Maria attended McCann's School of Business and worked as a Home Health Aide. Maria cherished her family, embracing the role of "Nonna" in which she spent her favorite time with her grandchildren. Weekend rides on the motorcycle and time spent with friends and family were the perfect day for Maria. Maria cherished time spent with her furry friends.

A Celebration of Maria's Life will be held on Thursday July 2, 2026 at 7 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the time of services.
