Margaret W. Lopata, 95 years of age of Ash Circle, Andreas, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Widow of Andrew Lopata, Sr. who passed away in 2008, Margaret is survived by; son, Andrew Lopata and his wife Robin of Andreas; daughter, Margaret A. Centrella of Torrington , CT,; sister, Beatrice Carozzo of Alondale, PA; 6 grand children, Angela, Maureen, Mary Beth, Jennifer, Thomas, and Ashly; 3 great grand children, Abigail, Colton, and Lucas. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.
A 1938 Nesquehoning High School graduate, Margaret was a homemaker. She belonged to the Nesquehoning American Legion Aux., AmVets, and Andreas Fire Company Aux.. Margaret, was a talented seamstress.
Born Thursday, January 6, 1921 in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late William, and Beatrice (Maurer) Bond. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Beatrice Mary PuJol in 2007; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Wildoner, Mrs. Ruth Heffelfinger, and Mrs. Janet Davis; brothers, William, and Thomas Bond.
