Luz E. (Rodriquez) Abreu

Luz E. Abreu, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, 86 years of age, of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at St. Luke's Anderson in Easton, Pennsylvania due to complications from the Covid-19 virus. Born Saturday, July 15, 1933 in Yauco, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Santiago Rodriguez and the late Ramona (Torres) Rodriguez. She was also predeceased by her husband, Jose Francisco Abreu on October 11, 2018; and brothers, Julio F. Rodriguez Torres, Francisco Rodriguez Torres, and Mariano Rodriguez Torres; and sisters, Amalia Rodriguez Torres and Marta Rodriguez Torres. Luz ws a homemaker who loved to bake and cook. What she enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family. Surviving are son, Jose Abreu and his wife Vickie of Tobyhanna; sister, Carmen Rodriguez Torres; grand children, Vanessa Abreu, Aiden Abreu, Jannaiya Abreu; great grand children, Nicholas Reyes, Elijah Reyes, James King Wong.
