Lois M. Shellhamer

Mrs. Lois M. (Sakusky) Shellhamer, age 80, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at St. Lukes Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa.

Lois was a 1945 Tamaqua High School gardauate and homemaker. The last year and a half she resided at Maple Shade in Nesquehoning, Pa.

All that knew her will feel the loss of a wonderful women, who gave so much and asked for so little, while touching so many lives.

Lois was a member of Trinity U.C. of Tamaqua, Pa., and served as a church Greeter.

Born in Tamaqua, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Lotwick) Sakusky.

She is also survived by her

One Daughter,
Mrs. Mary E. (Shellhamer) wife of Ronald Clemson of Stroudsburg, Pa.

One Son,
Mr. Virgil R. Shellhamer of Tamaqua, Pa.

Seven grandchildren
Two great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil H. Shellhamer in 2000; and a son William C. Shellhamer in 2003

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2008.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2008 . Rev. Dr., David W. Grant officiating.

Interment will be at Sky- View Memorial Park.
