Lisa A. Sholtis

Lisa A. Sholtis, 60, of Tamaqua, passed away on September 18, 2026.

Born on December 7, 1965, Lisa was the daughter of the late Cyril and Jeanette (Krapf) Dougherty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory C. "Barney" Sholtis, who passed away on July 14, 2021.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Tiffany Marie, wife of Shawn Nunemacher, and Samantha Sholtis; her grandchildren, Xander, Arianna, Brielle, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cyril; and sisters, Maureen, Cynthia.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews, her mother in law, Marie Sholtis, Martha Salitz and sister in law, Roxanne, wife of Ivan Christman.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 30 at 6pm from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. A visitation will be held from 5pm until the time of the service.

Inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
