Lawrence C. McCullion, husband, father, and grandfather, 84 years of age, of W. White Bear Dr., Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 13, 2016, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Survived by his wife of fifty-seven years,, Stephanie S. (Lukac) McCullion; Sons, Lawrence and his wife Pamela of Summit Hill,
Terrance and his wife Barbara of Lehighton, Gerald and his wife Carolyn of Johns Creek, GA, Dwayne and his wife Lisa of Corpus Christi, TX; Daughters,
Adrianne wife of Vincent Tranchitella of York, Pa, Miriam wife of Karl Maehrer of Allentown, Dana wife of Jim Kelleher of Coopersburg, Diane wife of Steven Carrington of Cincinnati, OH;

Twenty-Nine Grandchildren
Two Great-Grandchild.

Lawrence was founder of L&S Electrical, White Bear, which his sons now operate. A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Lawrence was a former member of St. Ann's of Lansford. Proud of his Irish heritage, he had a beautiful Irish tenor voice. Lawrence, sang for many weddings and funerals throughout the area. He was a proud supporter of Marian Catholic High School from which his children graduated.

Lawrence was a member of the Summit Hill American Legion Post # 316. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and training Beagles.

Lawrence served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War, and passed his love of country to many of his children and grandchildren who served honorably today.

Born in Summit Hill, he was the son of the late Edward McCullion and the late Estella (McGorry) McCullion. Lawrence was also predeceased by; sister, Mrs. Inez Boyle; brothers, Edward B., John F., and Francis Donald McCullion.

Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Interment with Military Honors will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.
