Joyce M. Olencki, 81 years of age, formerly of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.
Born Tuesday, November 20, 1934 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Irvin and Doris (Arner) Huegel. She was also predeceased by her brother, Stanley J. Huegel on April 29, 2000.
A Tamaqua Area High School graduate class of 1952, Joyce worked for Unisys Corporation in New Jersey. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua.
Surviving are; sister, Mrs. Fern Rudenko and her husband Russell of Tamaqua; sister-in-law, Margaret Huegel of Tamaqua, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Tuesday May 10, 2016 from the funeral home, Rev. Virginia A. Goodwin to officiate.
Friends shall be received at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of services.
Interment at Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua Pennsylvania.
