Joseph A. Labyack, age 86, of Golf Road, West Penn Twp., Tamaqua, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Gnaden Huetten Campus, in Lehighton.
Survived by his wife of 64 years, H. Florence (Lutz) Labyack.
Joseph had worked at the #9 Mines of Lansford until there closing, and then retired from Safe Guard Business Systems of Lansdale.
He was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and enjoyed gardening.
Born in Summit Hill, he was the son of the late Stephen and Eva (Hanerski) Labyack.
He is also survived by;
One Sister,
Mary Maradeo of Nesquehoning;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by a brother, Stephen; sisters, Mrs. Helen Bracalente, and Mrs. Anna Smith
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM Saturday, April 21, 2012.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 10 o'clock AM Saturday, April 21, 2012.
Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua.
