Joan Ann (Burrell) Rissinger, age 69, of E. Broad St., Tamaqua, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at St. Lukes Hospice, Bethlehem.
She was the widow of Marvin D. Rissinger who passed away 1/7/2010.
Joan had worked for Capital Blue Cross and Dauphin Deposit and Mellon Banking as a collateral clerk.
She was a 1964 graduate of Tamaqua High School and a Pottsville School of Nursing graduate.
Joan was Catholic by faith.
Born in Coaldale on 9-6-1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry Burrell and Catherine (Armbruster) Burrell.
She is also survived by her

Mark D Rissinger and his wife Kristin of Oberlin, PA;

Karen Burrell of Tamaqua;

David, Ashlyn and Alyssa.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, PA., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Reverend John Frink to officiate.
Interment at St. Jerome RCCC, Tamaqua.
