Herbert Vincent McIntosh, Jr., 59 years of age of Lansford, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Born Monday, September 26, 1966 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Herbert Vincent McIntosh, Sr. and Delores June (Schmick) Shafer.

Surviving are son, Ronnie J. McIntosh; brother, David Rehrig and his wife Kim; sisters, Susan Binder wife of Ronald, Crystal Rehrig wife of late Rodger, Samantha Melber and her companion Ed Rush. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Herbert.

A Palmerton High School graduate, Herbert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh County Community College and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Herbert worked as a manager for Chewy.com, was a shift lead at Amazon.com and had been a supervisor at the Eckman Lumber Company.

An outdoorsman, Herbert enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and ardent fan of the Miami Dolphins.

A Celebration of Herbert's Life will be held on Sunday August 30, 2026 from 1 to 4:00 P.M. at the Nesquehoning Fire Station Grove Rte. 54 953 East Catawissa Street Nesquehoning Pennsylvania 18240. All are welcome to attend.
