Mrs. Helen G (Searfoss) Schickram, age 85, of Sixth Street Weatherly, PA, died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Weatherwood Carbon County Home, in Weatherly, PA.
A 1942 White Haven High School graduate, Helen was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
Helen retired from Wagner Electric of Weatherly in 1985, after 40 years of service.
Helen was also a member of the Weatherly Senior Citizens.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Laveria (Kulp) Searfoss.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul Schickram;
One Brother,
David Searfoss and his wife, Patricia, of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Preceded in death by brother, Thomas Searfoss; sister, Joan Kaufman.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, PA, Philip J. Jeffries F.D./ Supervisor.
Graveside Memorial Service will be at Union Cemetery at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2009, Rev. Walter Breiner officiating.
