Helen B. Horoschak

Mrs. Helen B (Derzak) Horoschak, age 87, of Coaldale, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at St Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Surdak) Derzak.

Catholic by faith she was a Coaldale High School graduate, and, homemaker.

She is survived by her
granddaughter, Kadie Surma;

son in law, John Surma, both of Coaldale;

Nephew Michael Pushcarovich of West Chester, Pa.;

Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Horoschak on 3-15-2005; daughter, Jeanne L. Surma on 10-14-2008; brother, Joseph T. Derzak on 1-19-2011; sister, Theresa Pushcarovich.


Arrangements are being handled by Holmes-Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 E. Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pa., where friends may call Tuesday morning September 6, 2011 from 9 to 10 o'clock A.M.
