Heather Lee Sytnik

Heather Lee Sytnik, 49, of Tamaqua, passed away on September 25, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 13, 1977 in Lehighton, Heather was a daughter of Raymond W. Yocum and Rita M. (Lynn) Cavanaugh. She was adopted and raised by Rita Lynn and Victor Turner.

A 1995 graduate of Panther Valley High School Heather worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as a Day Care worker. Heather enjoyed fishing and camping. Her favorite place to be was at the beach, Heather, loved nothing more than being a mother.

Heather is survived by; husband, Francis P. Sytnik Jr.; son, Czar Founds; daughter, Deana D. Founds; and brother, Solomon Reed, Along with many family members and friends that loved her dearly. .

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Tamaqua.
