Grace CeCelia Millers, 87, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Her departure marks the end of a life filled with love, care, and dedication to her family and community.
Born on August 3, 1938, in New Haven, Connecticut, Grace was the cherished daughter of the late Herman and Dorothy (Gilbert) Goldbeck. Grace spent most of her life in NH. Following her deep commitment to family values, she devoted herself to creating a nurturing environment for children through her work as the owner and operator of Millers Family Daycare and volunteering for the Girl Scouts for many years. Her compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to caring for others left a lasting impact on countless families.
Grace was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Imants Millers, who passed away in 2022, their son Janis Millers and her grandson, Raymond Millers II, whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.
She is survived by her six children: Aija Millers Heuer of St. Paul, MN; Lolita Millers of St. Paul, MN; Mara, wife of Bob Stupelis of East Lebanon, ME; Raymond, husband of Denise Millers of Somersworth, NH; Aina, wife of Vinnie DiGianni of Clinton, CT; Marti, wife of David Funk of Tamaqua, PA. Grace's legacy continues through her children, who carry forward her spirit of kindness and resilience.
She was grandmother to 22 and great grandmother to 21. However, she was known as “Grammy Grace” to countless others. She was always ready to babysit, share a craft or teach a new skill to any that took an interest.
Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Hazel Audette of Minnesota, Gail Guerette and Herman Goldbeck of Connecticut, who shared in her laughter, sorrows, and joys throughout the years.
Grace's life was a testament to love, strength, and family bonds. A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family at North Madison Congregational Church, 1271 Durham Rd, Madison, CT 06443 , 2/21 at 1:30.
