Eleanor A. Dewald

Mrs. Eleanor A. (Barrett) DeWald, age 87, of West Hemlock Street Hazleton, Pa., died Friday, October 15, 2010, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Keich) Barrett.

A homemaker, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Howard DeWald;

Three Daughters,
Sandra (Boyle) Malt of Hazleton,
Sharon (Boyle) Kovatch wife of John III of Nesquehoning,
Shelly (DeWald) Martino wife of Ed of Jim Thorpe;

Three grandchildren
One great-grandchild;

Preceded in death by her first husband, Condy Boyle in 1956; brother, John Barrett; sisters, Mrs. Doris Morgan, and Mrs. Fern Barron

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2010.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2010.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
