Mrs. Dorothy E. (Furmanchin) Hudock, age 91, of Weatherly died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Hazleton General Hospital.

Dorothy had been employed by Tung Sol in the production dept.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly and a member of the Grey Ladies Assoc.

She was a Weatherly High School graduate.

Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late George Furmanchin and the late Hattie (Bredbenner) Furmanchin.

She is survived by her

two daughters,
Joan E. Frye of Sellersville
and Patricia A. Lettie wife of Daryl of Coplay

one son,
David E. Hudock and his wife Vera of Elmwood Park, NJ

seven grandchildren, Richard, Scott, Darin, Jennifer, Kristeen, Darlene and Craig

fifteen great-grandchildren

nieces and nephews, especially Jeanne DeHond, Marilyn Flood and Carol Furmanchin

friend, Nancy Remaley.

Preceded in death by her husband, Edward William Hudock, in 1981; daughter, Carolyn Englehart in 1996; brothers, James and Joe Furmanchin, Julius and Albert Lonzinski; sisters, Harriet Rutz, Helen Steiner and Verna Tito.

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D./Supervisor.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane St., Weatherly, Pa., Reverend Floyd Caesar officiating. Call from 12-1 PM at church prior to Mass.

Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Weatherly, Pa.

Memorials in her honor may be made to the church or to the Weatherly Animal Shelter
