Embick II and Louise Mae Embick.Del was a lifelong believer and was never ashamed to share God's Word and the difference his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made in his life. His faith was his foundation and it directed his path.

Del joined the U.S. Navy in 1981.

He worked at a wide array of businesses during his lifetime. ln his youth he worked at two archeological dig sites, in Lock Haven near Piper Aviation Museum and in Lockport, PA. Del humorously called himself a Jack of all trades and a master of none in electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry and cooking. A favorite saying to his family was, "I'll figure it out.' He took on countless remodeling and building projects over the years and was never afraid of a challenge to his skills.Del was multi-talented and over his life wrote and self-published a book of Christian song lyrics, and had more than one of them set to music by a Christian music label. He also wrote poetry and enjoyed strumming on his 4 guitars from time to time.

Del was a quiet, contemplative man who worked hard, loved his family and his home and found his greatest pleasure in them.
