David L. Christman, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, 58 years of age of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016, unexpectedly while at his family's cabin in Promise Land State Park, Pike County, Pennsylvania.
Survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Melanie A. (Butts) Christman; daughters, Analisha Danko wife of Andrew of Tamaqua, and Vanessa Christman of Coaldale; brothers, Guy Christman and Brian Christman both of Kreidersville; sister, Mrs. Laura Tailian wife of Frank of Bethlehem; grand children, Bryce, and Brilynn Danko; many nieces, and nephews also survive David.
A 1976 graduate of Northampton High School, David was a certified diesel mechanic. David worked for the Lansford - Coaldale Joint Water Authority for many years. He was a member of the F.& A.M Masonic Temple Carbon Lodge # 242, and the West Penn Rod & Gun Club. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed Archery Hunting with his cross bow. David's constant companions were his four legged friends, Daisy, Candy, Peaches, and Addy.
Born Tuesday, March 25, 1958 in Allentown he is the son of Lester Christman of Northampton, and the late Sylvia (Kidd) Christman. He was also predeceased by a brother, Dan Christman.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
A Funeral service will be held 7 o'clock PM on Wednesday June 1, 2016 from the funeral home.
Friends will be received from 5:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home.
Private interment.
