It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Kutash, a loving mother, a truly special woman, and a soul devoted completely to her family. Cynthia resided in Mary-D Pennsylvania and passed away at home while in the care of her family.

Born in Pottsville and raised in Middleport the daughter of the late Peter S. Kutash.

Cindy’s nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and love for music will forever live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. Surviving are mother, Ida Kutash; sister; Mary Jane Bassler; wife of Francis; partner; Donald Gerber; Daughters; Summre Inama-Patricella wife of Etrik, Brandey Coleman wife of Mike; grandchildren; Lily Beck wife of Aaron Hepler, Gabriel & Quinn Coleman, Baela & Indigo Patricella; Great grandchild; Arden Hepler.

A 1968 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Cindy worked for many years in the Medical Records Department of St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital. Cindy was an active member of St. Joseph’s PNCC in Middleport, where she served as church officer and pierogi maker over 40 years. Cindy volunteered over the years at the Brockton fire hall baking and serving when needed. Cindy was also an active member of the Middleport Legion

A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026 at 3 o’clock P.M. from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. A visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon from 1 P.M. until time of services.
