Charles W. Curry Jr., 79, of Lansford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at his home.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, on October 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles W. Curry Sr. and Dorothy (Brennan) Curry.

Charles was employed by Tamaqua Transfer. He was a lifetime member of the West Penn Rod and Gun Club and a social member of the New Ringgold Fire Company. An avid outdoorsman, Charles enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Coll) Curry; a sons, Charles Curry of Florida and Michael Curry ; a daughter, Linda Williams and her husband, Ricky, of Nesquehoning; two sisters, Linda Topper and her husband, Eddie, of Nanticoke, and Marie Rooney of Margate, Florida; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Billy, Alex, Joel, and Eddie Curry; and two sisters, Joan Zonak and Beverly Turner.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
