Cecilia A. Hoherchak

Mrs. Cecilia A. (McHale) Hoherchak, age 72, of Summer Valley Road New Ringgold, died Friday, October 21, 2011, at home surrounded by her family while in their loving care.

A Jim Thrpe High School graduate, Cecilia had worked as a General Manager for Western Union, and then worked with her husband, at Nova Casting Corporation of Auburn, their family business until the sale of the company in 1987.

Cecilia was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua.

Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Mundy) McHale.

She is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Joseph M. Hoherchak;

One Daughter,
Donna (Hoherchak) Slaw and her husband Robert of Lehighton;

Two Sons,
Joseph Hoherchak, Jr. and wife Colleen of Sand Hook, N.J.,
David Hoherchak and his wife Wanda of Shoemakersville;

One Brother,
Mike McHale of Jim Thorpe;

Four grandchildren, Robert, Stephanie, Zachary, and Narissa;

Preceded in death by brothers, Ed, Robert, and Regis McHale; sister Mrs. Marie (McHale) Zsak.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 and from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C.C. West Broad St. Tamaqua, at 11 o'clock AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011, Rev. James Bechtel to officiate.

Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua.
