Mrs. Carol (Barron) Stauffenberg, age 70, of Rolling Mill Ave., Tamaqua, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, unexpectedly at St Lukes Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Carol was retired from I.C.I., formerly Atlas Powder of Reynolds, and worked as a clerk at Rite Aid of Tamaqua.
A 1959 Tamaqua High School graduate, she enjoyed playing Bingo.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Harold F. Barron Sr. and the late Florence M. (Schaeffer) Barron.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Deneen A Bonetsky wife of Stephen with whom she resided;
Two Sons,
Kenneth B. Stauffenberg and his wife Tara, and Daniel A. Gerber all of Tamaqua
Two Brothers,
Harold "Sonny" F. Barron, Jr. and his wife Joan of Tamaqua and
George Barron and his wife Eileen of Nesquehoning;
Six grandchildren, Ryan, Miranda, Tawnie, Kaitlyn, Michael and Barron
Nieces and Nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Reverend James C. Bechtel officiating.
