Bertine "Bert" W. Andrews

Bertine W. Andrews, 74, of Rush Township, Still Creek, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Born on August 21, 1951, in North Hampton County, Pennsylvania, Bertine was the son of the late Arlington and Virginia (Blose) Andrews.

Throughout his life, Bertine was known for his devotion to family and the simple joys that brought warmth to those around him. He found contentment in nurturing his home and created many cherished memories exploring the outdoors through camping. These passions underscored his appreciation for the world around him and his desire to share meaningful experiences with loved ones.

Bertine’s legacy is reflected in his beloved family. He is survived by his sons, Chad B. Andrews and Patrice Murphy, Shawn J. Andrews and his wife, Brenda. His grandchildren—Brianna Demjanick and her husband Joe, Tiffani Murphy, Tyler Andrews, Emily Andrews, and Chase Andrews—were a continual source of pride and joy in his life. The love Bertine shared continues to ripple outward through his great-grandchildren, Dexter Demjanick and Peyton Boyer.

Bertine’s connection to family was further evidenced by the enduring bonds with his sisters, Cindy Myers and Nina, wife of Lamar Lauer and his brother Dawson. He was a man who valued relationships, and his steadfast support enriched the lives of each family member.

In addition to these lasting relationships, Bertine will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and unassuming presence. The lessons and love he imparted remain a guiding light for all who knew him.
