Beatrice M. "Bea" Evans

Beatrice "Bea" M. Evans, 66, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and "Nana," Bea was loved by all who knew her.

Born on July 14, 1959, in Abington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Helen Bushman. Bea is survived by her loving husband, Craig S. Evans; her sons, Zac S. Evans and his wife Nicole, Kyle R. Evans and his wife Sarah, and Noah D. Evans. She was also the proud Nana of five grandchildren, who brought a steady stream of purpose and joy to her life. Her family was always her priority, and she approached each role—with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren—with commitment and care. She also leaves behind her brothers George and Jim Bushman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Joseph, Bill, and sister, Val.

Bea’s faith shone through in her kindness and love for those around her. Her life was defined by selfless devotion to others.

Craig and Bea were married on March 29th, 1980. Less than a year later, they moved to Dutch Hill in Tamaqua, PA. This is where they built their life of 45 years together raising a family.

 For more than 20 years, Bea volunteered at the Tamaqua Baseball Little League fields, where she ran the food stands during the season. Her presence there became a familiar part of the ballpark. While managing the stands, she also spent many hours cheering on her sons and grandchildren and supporting all teams. Through her involvement, Bea built long-standing friendships with other families, coaches, and volunteers.

Bea’s warmth, guidance, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
