Barbara E. Delay, beloved mother, sister, gram, 79 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

Born Monday, November 4, 1946 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Edward and Grace (Bennnage) DeLay. Barbara was also predeceased by; sister Nancy Baddick.

Surviving are son, Bryan E. DeLay and his wife Sharon; sister, Carol Schickram; grandchild, Dylan DeLay and his companion Keli Baker; step grandchildren, Christopher Hartz and his wife Jacqueline, Amanda A. Hartz; step great granddaughter, Miranda Hartz. Nieces and nephews also survive Barbara.

A 1964 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Barbara retired from the former Atlas Powder Co. after many years of service. A talented knitter, baker, and ceramic artist, she also enjoyed spending her leisure days solving puzzles on the computer.
