Thomas M. "Tim" Stoffey

Thomas M. "Tim" Stoffey, 85 years of age, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.. Born Saturday, August 29, 1936 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. the son of the late George, and Elizabeth (Chaballa) Stoffey. He was also predeceased by; sisters, Dorothy Zimmerman, and Verna Bench. Surviving are; his beloved wife of 60 years, Jean R. (Klusko) Stoffey; son, Thomas G. Stoffey and his wife Nancy of Coatesville, Scott D. Stoffey and his wife Teri of Breinigsville; daughter, Marla A. Dibilio and her husband John; brothers, Joseph Stoffey and his wife Patricia, George Stoffey and his wife Annie; sister, Marge Shigo; grand children whom affectionately called him pap-pap, Cole, Brayden, and Evan. A 1954 graduate of Coaldale High School, Tim served honorably in the United States Navy. Retiring from Nokia, Tim began his 35 year tenure with Bell Labs. Tim was a talented carpenter, plumber, electrician taking great pride in tending to, and remodeling his home, while always available to help his family with their projects. Tim enjoyed fishing, and playing golf. Tim was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua. Private arrangements entrusted to the E.
