He was also predeceased by brother; Ray Velazquez. Surviving are children, Daisy Rodriquez, Marco Marcano, Jr., Yesmar Marcano, Kenneth Marcano, Dayana Marcano; siblings; Josephine, and Florence Romero; Luz, Roberto, and Israel Gonzalez; Ana Caseres; Ramon Batista; Juan, Mario, Velazquez; Migdalia Batista; grandson, Matthew Marcano; special nieces and nephew, Wenda Guzman Freeman, Leon Freeman and numerous other nieces and nephews.
