Joseph P. McCann, III, 70 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, July 14, 1952 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the lateJoseph P. and Katherine (Sweeney) McCann, Jr. Joseph was also predeceased by a brother, Kevin McCann.
A 1970 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Tamaqua, PA Joseph matriculated to Thaddeus Stevens Trade School and earned an Associate's degree. He was employed by Bethlehem Mines.
Catholic by faith, Joseph was a member of St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church. He was formerly a member of the East End Fire Company.
Surviving are brother, Terry McCann of Tamaqua, PA, sister, Margaret Portz and her husband Bede of Hershey, PA. Nieces and Nephews also survive Joseph.
