John D. "Jack" Jones

October 16, 1950 - December 20, 2021

John D. "Jack" Jones, 71 years of age, of Barnesville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021, at home in the tender care of his wife of 42 years, Eileen M. (Kisela) Jones. Born Monday, October 16, 1950 in Shenandoah the son of the late Lewellyn, and Dorothy (Zilko) Jones. In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by; sons, Robert S. Jones of Barnesville, Kyle J. Jones and his wife Christine of Penn Valley; sisters, Charlotte Smigo, Mary Jane Keip both of Mahanoy City; grandchildren, Zavry, and Adelyn; extended family, Belinda Grilly and her husband Tom, Stephen Kisela, Kathleen Nojak and her husband John, Joseph Kisela and his wife Sharon, Jovay Matta and her husband Fernie, Mary Mauray and her husband Dale. Many nieces and nephews also survive John. A 1969 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, John worked for Yelena Construction, and UGI Utilities doing gas line construction. He was a talented woodworker, and avid fisherman. A devoted father, John coached Knee-Hi Football, and served as President of the Mahanoy City Youth Football League during his boy's playing days.
