Guy R. Ulshafer, 69 years of age, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at St. Luke's Allentown Campus.
Born Saturday, February 7, 1953 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Guy W., and Alice (Heffelfinger) Ulshafer. Guy was also predeceased by; sister, Beverly Grammes.
Surviving are sons, Guy D. Ulshafer and his wife Patricia of Arvilla, ND, Joseph W. Ulshafer and his wife Amy of Kathleen, GA,; sisters, Rose Smith of Andreas, Mary Debendict of Andreas, Nancy Heckman of Nesquehoning, Wanda McFarland wife of Rex of Nesquehoning; grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Andrew, and Amber; great grandchild, Elliana; companion of 16 years, Grace Kennedy of Summit Hill; former wife of 33 years, Jean (Troutman) Sewinsky.
A Tamaqua High School graduate having attended Schuylkill County Vo-Tech with an emphasis in Auto Mechanics. Guy was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua. Retiring from Hart Metals of Tamaqua after 32 years of service, Guy previously had worked as a mechanic for Fiderak Trucking in South Tamaqua for 7 years.
Guy enjoyed working on cars, and cherished his 2000 Mustang. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt, and fish. Guy was a member of the Rabbit Run Fish & Game Association in Lewistown Valley for many years. He served as Treasurer, and coordinated the fishing derbies for the local children.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2022 from the funeral home at 10 o'clock A.M. Rev. Cindy White to officiate.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening March 8, 2022 from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
