Christopher J. Helferty, 35 of Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at St. Luke's Monroe Campus. Born Sunday, May 18, 1986, in Staten Island New York the son of James Helferty with whom he resided, and Melinda J. (Aybar) Helferty of Florida. Surviving are; son, Christopher Helferty; daughter, Riley Helferty; brothers, Anthony Helferty, Robert Helferty; sister, Katelyn Helferty; niece, Morgan; maternal grandparents, Daphne, and Kenneth Orbes. A Pocono Mountain Senior High School & Monroe County Vo-Tech graduate, Chris was a member of the Pocono Mountain football team. Chris was a talented mechanic, and liked to wrench. A guitarist, Chris was a doting father. Chris was a volunteer Fireman with Coolbaugh Township Fire Company. Pending arrangements entrusted to the Philip J.
